Should I fill domain with content?

Hello!
I just bought my first domain. It is parked right now on sedo. I think about using some free hosting and making own website with some example logos, good sides of domain, hyperlinks and maybe some sort of description. In addition maybe i would be able to use SEO to optimize for search engines.

Is it good idea to create showcase website ? or Is parking enough?
