I seen that. I brought some names like that to see if my names could get that much of a sale. It's not that confusing because sèx.com is in the center in bold and red. What is confusing is "This Domain name gets over 60.000.000 Google hits". That might make someone think they are getting sex.com because there are only like 734 results for sèx on google.
Frankly, I think this is just another IDN rip off from somebody who wants to participate in the domain game at the cost of newbies.
Nowwhere in the auction it is said, that you actually buy a IDN name,
and in fact, the domain you buy is in Row-based ASCII Compatible Encoding (RACE) "bq--abz6q6a.com"
in PUNYCODE "xn--sx-7ia.com"
and in UTF8 "sèx.com"
What I am not shure of is how google really treats this domain when it comes to keywords (sèx, bq--abz6q6a or xn--sx-7ia, sèx) ?
anyone know ?
In any case, IMO a big RIP OFF doing damage to the fair players.
You're right nRnF and if you feel that strongly about this you can report it to ebay. I doubt they would cancel the auction but I bet they will force the seller to make it known to prospective buyers that this is an IDN name.
