Sex and Domains?

Hi everyone,

Recently browsing the internet I've notice a lot of girls on domain buy/selling websites. Does attraction actually sell domains for the company or does it just get consumers to get to their site?

Here's one example:

(I'm talking about the girl on the right side of the site.)

I've seen this many times all over. Do we all just need a girl/guy that's good looking on our website to get visitors?

Interested in everybodies opinion.

I am completely against the objectification of women, but if it works, who wouldn't use it to their advantage.

Tell me this. If you and a competitor are selling the same product, lets says... --- brownie mix. Are you gonna have a big burly guy making brownies in the kitchen when the other company has a very good looking mother leaning over and putting the brownies in the oven?

It's animal instinct, the majority of us straight men love hot woman....it's in our nature and it's what we are attracted to. It's not pathetic or stupid, it's smart advertising because something in our brains clicks when we see a hot woman...does it make us buy things...yeah for some it does but the idea behind the advertising of sex is to get your attention and then hopefully you will buy the product. Take the commercials for AXE deodorant spray where the woman can't resist the men because of the product..I'm sure tons of guys use that spary now because of that commercial....yeah it is silly for someone to think that just because they spray that stuff on that woman are going to attack them....but it's not all false because alot of women like a good smelling man expecially if you are at a club with hundreds of other people it's good to stand out in the crowd like that. IMO the Godaddy girl is hot but her voice is annoying..they need to get another girl. I don't know about the rest of you but when a commercial comes on with half naked hot women comes on I pay attention...every notice that the hottest women in advertising are in ads for women not men...think maybe they are going after the inner lesbian instict in women? Doesn't the ads in the UK show nudity?
