Color coding key on the right-hand side of screen indicates what type of crime. Click on a box and you get a name, address & picture of the person along with his crime.

A day care just got shut down here because a registered sex offender was found to be living in the same building. These services are def. needed.

I have several sex offender names and want to make a site just like familywatchdog once I can learn how to query the data from the states' db's and use it in a google map. Any tips?

Interesting find.. but because most offenses are committed by friends or relatives, people should also be made aware that statistically you are more likely to be abused by someone you already know.

It's good information to know,I would like to see the same done with known burgalers and ect,We never know what persons are a threat to our homes and ect that may just be our neibor,But protecting our children is a must.Nice post Gene.
