.tv Seventies.tv TV corp error: NOT PREMIUM DN price

TV Corp made a mistake... They did not included seventies.tv as a premium domain. eighties.tv and sixties.tv are able to be regged for $500 per year. nineties.tv is already regged. Seventies.tv, however, is NOT a premium name and only costs ~$35/year to renew.
8,250,000 results for the google search "seventies."

The domain is regged at godaddy and has about 11 months left on the registration.

I have started to take offers on this domain (either for cash or barter). I am curious what people would appraise it at considering the information listed above. I would appreciate your thoughts.

Reputation points (not TR) will be added for thorough posts.

Reg. fee+ - Reg. fee+/+ (undeveloped), IMHO.

Perfect for development as an "Seventies" site; music, radio, fashion, (perhaps even 70's television shows?)! :p

All the best!

Does the fact that the domain should have been $500/yr make any difference in your opinion for the worth of the domain?

Coulda', shoulda', woulda' ... :imho:

It does not (undeveloped), in my personal view.
All the best!

Fonzie theres always a REASON they drop names from the premium name section. (Yes they purposely do it... not an "accident"). Very nice name IMO though.

<-- owns a few dropped names (overture.tv and August.tv) ;)

Prices are changed all the time AUSTRALIA most are based on changes in software and what have you, some prices go up like WWE.tv was $750 they moved it to $10,000 I spoke to Verisign ALSO the price of a lot of LL.tv which were $1,000 have moved to $10,000 and after spending some time with verisign they believe dot tv doing well reaffirmed and quoted yes DOT TV not a domainer extension we are not focused on the domainer in anyway rather the end user. After speaking to Verisign I realized the disconnect between domainers and Verisign is a large disconnect.

Raw numbers.

I personally think in the $500 - $2000. More if you hold

I've decided to take a gamble and throw this domain up at Sedo in the featured domain area. We will see what happens.

For domains in general, the trick is to find the right end user to get more out of the name. For .TV names, it seems this is the only way.

Keep us posted about the featured listing on Sedo.

Goodluck,

Good luck Fonzie. I like SEDOs Featured Listings. I have used them before and twice have generated offers. My problem is not accepted the offer that I got on three different domains because I felt I could get more.

I think the domain can fetch from $1,000 to $10,000. Make sure and park your domain.
