Setting up Free Host with ADs?

Hello,

I am looking at setting up free hosting and offer free hosting. I plan to make money with advertising and pushing for upgrades to ad-free and professional hosting (using reselling plans).

I know there are plenty of free hosts around. But would like to know your experience on how much you will earn with advertising?

No one can really answer how much money you will earn in this industry, it depends a lot on your business plan and on how lucky you are (yes, most businesses that are successful owe it a lot to timing and luck)

I have done research on some free hosting companies. My guess is if I get 10K+ active customers, I achieve break through for expenses (excluding my time).

My research tells me it's very easy to get visitors sign up for free hosting (some companies have got 50K visitors in under 3 months with few methods!).

Would be very much interested to hear from some one who has free hosting services!
