Setting up an affiliate program?

Hi... I'm working on setting up an affiliate program for the mortgage company I work for - does anyone have any tips on how to go about it? Personal experiences? I'm not sure I can afford linkshare or cj... I dunno. I'm at a loss. Cheers,

Shareasale.com is probably the next best thing to LS & CJ, in my opinion.
