I have a local server in my network, Apache with all the stuff XAMPP gives you. It works great from any computer in the network, but it won't work from the Internet.

What I did:
1) I tried changing port 80 to 81.
2) I set up my router setting the way manual tells me to (I have D-Link DI-524)
3) I looked thru httpd and everything looks fine
4) I set up no-ip.com to DNS Host (A) with my IP, it didn't work; then I put in Port 80 redirect to port 81 (since I have Port 81) - still don't work
5) I have Comcast Cable in Maryland
6) My router refuses assigning port 8080 to my HTTP server

Did anyone have such problems? I really need to have my server accesssible from online :( Plz help, willing to pay 100 np$ to whoever helps!

if you use home internet (cable /DSL) the reason could be your provide not allowing the port.

I called the support team asking if Comcast blocks port 80, they said no, but I read online forum messages from other boards saying that they do...

The link is www.artem.myftp.biz
