The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
I have hosting with them that I'm not really using anymore.

From what I could tell when I was using them, their uptime was usually good. I don't remember ever noticing any downtime.

Support has a quick responce time. Many of my tickets were answered within a few minutes.

I don't think there is any limit on the number of domains you can host on the account.

The only thing I would be careful of is the outrageous ammount of space and bandwidth they offer. I'm almost certain they're overselling and assuming you'd never use that much of their resources.

One reason they seemed appealing to me I need mega bandwith for a couple of really bandwidth hungry sites that I own....

Thanks! I will take a look and see what they have to say about servage.

i wouldn't recommend them, i get mysql errors occasionally for no reason, initial page view takes about 6-10 seconds but once you get the first page the others come at normal speeds, also I got some error the other day that made a PHP file not be recognized and was downloadable, which is unacceptable, because others could see my code for that script i had custom written :(

they are good for hosting lots of files like MP3s/video and static HTML but PHP is kinda slow and MYSQL isnt reliable

their statistics are very useful either, due to the way their clustered servers are setup you dont get any server logs

tech support is from india by email, i know cuz i saw their IP and Host when they visted my site with sitemeter

I am currently hosted with them, and I am extremely happy with their service - really.
I've no complaints at all; except that I've to admit there has once been a problem with a MySQL server for a few hours. This was only with one MySQL server. I am hosted with them 6 months now, and I'm about to renew my service.

About the uptime: the uptime is indeed usually good, especially in Europe I have extremely good uptime and fast response. I can recommend them :)

I think they are over selling a lot.
I would choose between Dreamhost or Servage only on the price difference.

Just found this thread.
I am looking to host multiple domains; a handful fully functioning e-commerce, forum, blog sites and many as mini-sites.
Not a webmaster (at all) but learning.
Would SERVAGE.NET be a good choice for me? As I need multiple domain hosting more then hosting for a monster site.
Cheers

Just some advice, note the price goes up when you want to pay for a shorter term. My advice is to absolutely never pay for anything over a year. In fact, it's best to stick to monthly but quaterly and biannually are also options.

The other thing is, I don't see a number on how many domains you can have. It lists multiple domain hosting, but doesn't provide any additional details.

I'd recommend Servage!

I've been using Servage for a few months. I'm really happy with them.
I've recently joined DreamHost as well, just to see if they are that good since many people recommend them.

Servage's control panel is very easy to use compare to the one DreamHost has.
Servage's support is great. Tickets are always answered within a few minutes.
I don't have any issue with MySQL (I use MySQL 5). I think they have more servers running MySQL 5 than MySQL 4.x.

So far I don't see any good with DreamHost.
DreamHost failed to transfer my domain, and took almost a week just to check why it was failed! Then they remove my order and required me to place the order again.
My account was disabled by them mistakenly a few days ago. I had to email them to re-enable my account.
I don't feel happy with this kind of service.

Anyways, PM me for extra web space/discount if you wanna apply for Servage/DreamHost.

It's stated on http://www.servage.net/whatis/?item=25dom
They do allow customers to host unlimited domains.

Hello!

I have a 30% off for life coupon: DK3C
This was given to me sometime ago, but I don't earn any commission from it.
Maybe someday, when they like the number of referrals I send :'(

NEVER GO FOR A HOST THAT OFFERS MORE THAN 1gb space/$,
even if you do decide to go with one..
dont use up more than 1gbspace/$ you pay
for example if you pay 8$ per month
dont use up more than 8gb space and 80gb bandwidth

My account was suspended without notice for comsuming 10gb of bandwidth within one hour. I never use it again.

Anybody else take a look at their dns servers?

SERVAGE.NET.TOSTRELLE.NET
SERVAGE.NET.SEXYSHOWLIVE.COM
SERVAGE.NET.CIALIS-IMPOTENCE-DRUG.COM
SERVAGE.NET.CHARMPENIS.COM
SERVAGE.NET.ABSOLUTE-PHEROMONES.COM
SERVAGE.NET

Does this seem odd to any of you?
