How I receive constant free quality hosting

I just thought I'd share a tip since I have years of free hosting built up.

I started off by paying Servage.net $45 for 6 months of hosting. They seemed like a good deal because they allow 25 different domains to be hosted.

Then I found out about their referal program. If you can get people to use your referal code, then you get 2 free months + more web storage.

First, I typed in "Servage.net coupon" in google, and found several forums advertising their referal code. I just replied to all of them and said that my code was newer. .

This gave me about a referal every 2 weeks. THen I got the idea to advertise in google adwords. When someone typed "servage coupon code" (etc) I would have an advertisment claiming "Want a coupon code? Use this XXXXXX to get more storage" (etc).

This gave me about a referal every day, and since I gave the code in the text of my ad, noone clicked on the ad except 2 people. Over 2 weeks I had 20+ referals and only needed to pay for 2 clicks (.37 cents).

Now I have free hosting for about the next 4 years with 92 gigs storage and 600gigs transfer.

I'll never have to pay hosting costs again. Just thought I'd share this becuase it worked so well for me.

I got a pretty good free hosting by checking the freewebspace forum. So far so good.

Here is what they sent me when I signed up:

Earn Free Hosting by referring friends:
For each friend you refer, you will receive two months of credit toward
your hosting balance plus 2500 Mb of extra web space. Your friend will
also receive 2500 Mb of extra storage (77500 Mb total)! There is no limit
to the number of free months and extra web space you can receive.

Here is what I receive when I refer someone:

We have great news for you! Kerry has just signed up using your coupon code.
Therefore we have added two months of free hosting and 2500 Mb extra disk
space to your account as a "thank you".

This brings your total disk space up to 82514 Mb. Your account will be
automatically renewed at 2008-02-16 - but you can just keep referring new
members and you will never have to pay again :o)

Unfortunetly you have to pay some in order to start, but I think it's worth it.

yep. A ton of storage for me... 95% of it goes to waste.

Well, that is a really great idea. It would still work if I payed for only one month right? My main host and backup host both went offline so I'm looking for a new one.

Apparently with them there is a 20gig max daily bandwidth usage agreement, according the the TOS.

Customers are able to use 20 Gb daily totaling 600 Gb in a normal 30 day month. A 29 day month provides 580 Gb transfer and a 31 day month will allow a total of 620 Gb transfer. Sites that consume over our daily limit on a regular basis period will be disabled and client must look into another Web hosting provider to accommodate those high bandwidth needs.
