I'm working on a software program right now to assist in SEO for pages by looking at all the links going to competitors sites and listing there page ranks.
What I'm not so sure of, is how much 'weight' a link from a site of the same domain has.
So for example say I had the link Domain Name Finder versus Domain Name Generator.
The actual links those go to are the same site just one is demodownload.php the other is the home page, however do both add PR (Page Rank Points) toward the domain in question, or does only one because one link already from this site (namepros) is linking there.
Also assume that these links came from different pages and weren't on the same page, because I'm rather sure it only counts one link to the page targeting and not two.
To help explain more go to this link
http://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.co...14/best-domain-name-finder-ever/&bwm=i&bwmo=d
Notice how many of the results come from the same domains, but different pages, do each of those pages add PR or just the best page that happens to be from that domain?
Rep will be added for help! Thanks =)
