I sell products from my website and from ebay.

If I were to provide a link on ebay to my website of course obeying ebays rules of additional information for the motor is it a good backlink for the 90 odd days that the ebay page stays there?

Or is it a waste of time?

Just trying to get some good placements on google for my products and trying out a few different ways.

Depends on your plans. It won't help in SEO but it might help drive some targeted traffic to your website.
