You may want to rename your categories to

Accounting Articles
Fitness Articles
Mens Articles
etc

this could get each category ranked well in the serps for that keyword.

some where on the main page close to the top of the site make a head line
using your main keyword phrase you want to rank well for in the serps..
Use H1 or H2

try and build more backlinks to your site....

advertise in all the emails you send to people that submit articles.
use the income to buy paid links or ppc ads

other wise I think your site is nice and clean and with work and building your backlinks your site traffic will grow over time.

You may also want to contact article submitter sites to have them add your site into their software... a list like DigiXmas.com

Hey guys, thanks for all the comments. Tonight changed quite a lot on it taking in some of your feedback (only took me just over a month, shows how busy I am :P)

I made the design a lot cleaner and changed the content to increase keyword density. 'Article' and 'Articles' are pretty high now. Back links are up to 5100 according one one source and my Alexa rank is sitting at about 250k.

Getting a regular consistent stream of traffic, averaging about 60-80 article submissions per day. I am not emailing my authors because my bulk emailer isn't working. When I get that fixed and use it for the first time it should have a great impact on my traffic.

Going to rework the logo/header tomorrow.
