Hey,

I have 2 questions about Sedo.

Is Sedo any good for selling a domain, in a auction?
Also, i read about the commission fee.

Sedo's commission fee is 10%
10% of the sales price
[ minimum 100€ / 70£ / 100$ ]

I don't understand this "Minimum" part. :red:

Do they take 10% if my name sells for more than 100€ / 70£ / 100$ ?

If anyone could shed any light on this, that would be great! :tu:

Sedo is great to have your domain in auction IF your domain is in auction with a reserve or if you have negotiated a price in the regular offer-counter system and you decide to push the domain into auction.

Let's say you receive a bid for $200 for one of your domains and you feel content enough to let it go at that price you could send the domain to auction for more exposure and because of this attract more bids in the process.

Making your end sale even higher as expected.

Note: If you push your domain into auction at the first bid received which could be $60 - your domain could only end up being sold for $60 if no other bidders are involved.

So only push a domain into auction if your comfortable to let the domain go for the latest price you received or if you feel confident enough that the domain will attract enough action.

As the fees concerned, the minimum would be 10% of the sales price or for .com domains $50 minimum.

So if your domain is to be sold for $200 you pay $50 commission because 10% of $200 is not the minimum of $50.

Should your domain to be sold for $1000 you pay $100
Should your domain to be sold for $100 you pay $50 since this is the minimum and 10% is $10 and does not meet the $50 minimum.

And if you park your domains with Sedo you only pay 10% of any amount you receive for your domain - no minimum.

If you park at Sedo then there is no minimum fee. Just the 10% fee.

Yes, you only pay %10 if it is parked there. For instance if it sells for $200 you pay $20 or if it sells for $60, which is the minimum amounth at sedo, then you pay $6 commision.
