I bought and paid for Pattaya.biz on 27th November after a sedo auction.

I have now sent 6 emails to [email protected] , [email protected] , [email protected] over the past week to try to get it to my account - guess how many responses I have had.

I tried adding the name to my account at Sedo , did get a response from [email protected] - - saying they could not verify my ownership - :bah:

The note on the file at Sedo transactions says they are waiting for the transfer code - see the whois >:(

Just to let you know, I too have had bad dealings with dover@sedo!!!

A .eu was sold, and still 6 months down the line I am still waiting for the deal to go through!!

Phone calls, emails.

But yet on the other hand i sold a name for $600 and the deal went like a dream, makes me think that sometimes they are just to busy to deal with things.

All the best with your enquires.

Yesterday I sent more emails to [email protected] , [email protected] , [email protected], [email protected] linking to this thread- guess what - zip - nada - nufink

That is now nine emails to various Sedo departments- dreadful service.

This was day one when everything was completed and Sedo took control of the domain:

11/27/06 Please send us your payment for the domain. The invoice for this sale can be found here:
Invoice
As soon as your payment reaches our escrow account we will inform you and the technical transfer can begin.
11/27/06 We have received full payment for this domain. Please await further instructions from your transfer agent. It is often the case that we have to go through certain preliminary stages with the seller in order to prepare the domain for transfer, so please be patient during this period.
11/27/06 In order to facilitate this transfer we have requested that the seller push the domain into our account at his registrar. Once the domain is in our account we shall unlock it and instruct you to put in a transfer request so that we can authorize it.
11/27/06 This domain requires an authorization code (AUTH-Code) in order to be transferred. We have asked the seller for the code and will send it to you as soon as possible.

Come on Sedo - what are you playing at your reputation is going down hill fast.

Damn D-: That really sucks - I think Mara will be your best bet to chase this up, she usually gets things done pretty pronto.

Hi Wot,

I received one of your emails last night and spoke with a transfer agent this morning. Please check your email for a response sent earlier today.

Best,

Thank you for the response Mara, although it was the second email I sent to you.

The name had been in Sedo's account for some days as you will see from the whois I posted earlier?

This was from a Sedo representative:

"Mara informed me that you had contacted her with regards to this domain transfer. Please be aware that neither Mara nor Edie were ignoring you. We had to wait for the seller to transfer the domain into our escrow account at his registrar. Please also note that emails are answered on a first come first served basis, which means that sometimes it will take longer to respond, depending on the email workload."

As I had to send 13 emails over a period of 9 days to get a response, first come first served was mentioned because of the workload, don't you think at least an auto response would at least placate some people- although if 8/9 days is the norm perhaps you need more staff?

Sedo is the number one platform for domain sales , keep it that way by keeping your customers happy- we pay the bills!
