Sedo parking pages suddenly changed,

Has anyone noticed there is some mess-up on Sedo clients' domain-parking pages? More than 30 my domains' parking pages have suddenly lost "for sale" links, and even the parking pages have changed not from my will and my editing. What's going on? Headache.

Sedo system does have some problems, needing fixing.

I have noticed a problem with my not being to edit some pages as well. Further, my domain manager is telling me that a few of the domains are no longer listed or for sale. I wrote to them last night. Hope it gets resolved.

Yeah I mentioned it to Keith a while back in the sedo thread, I am not too pleased about the for sale link dissapearing - not good !

His reply

We are always testing variations on current landing page templates. For the time being, try choosing an alternate lander to see if it makes a difference. If not, let me know.

The feedback is alwasy helpful. Don't worry, though, your domains would still be for sale, bu the link may not be present.

Have a great day!

Always,
Keith

hmmm - don't worry :-/ like its not a problem.

They are testing new landing pages without notifying clients?

I have seen those crappy new landing pages, and I do not like the new landing pages at all!

Most clients go to Sedo just for selling domains. If Sedo takes the crappy new landing pages without for-sale links on the page, many people may quit Sedo parking and go to other much better domain parking suppliers.

Yeah true, but what can you do apart from just point out the problems :| Its a case of put up with it or leave.

Maybe it will be back to normal soon ???

I think they must be trying a different ad feed on a portion of them as it looks like the ads are totally different on some of them now.

I have one particlular name that gets over 200 visitors a month, I'v tried setting the keywords to a couple of different things but for some bizarre reason it usually shows ads for chairs :-/ not related at all to the chosen keywords ! - I have quiet a few like this just now, a waste of traffic.

Can't imagine those crazy management and tech guys there who want to make more revenues from clients' domains to make out the stupid new parking pages so as to lose many clients who will go to much better domain parking firms.

First I'v heard of this. I went to check on a couple of my parked Sedo pages and they are messed up as well. I go to "parking optimizer" and the settings are the same as I put them, but the parked page is not along those lines. No wonder some of my pages have had a drastic downturn in clicks.

I personally don't see the issue. I am sure this is only going to be a minor problem for a short period of time. Also, I am sure that these recent changes may be part of the reason for a significant increase in revenue recently.

It was the same for me. It seems to me that they are earning our money. For that reason I left Sedo parking.
