SEDO Not Replying to Auction After Payment Sent: 5+ Days??

Ok, this is quite disturbing and I need advice.

I won an auction from a seller I know, and we processed the transaction via a Sedo auction. I paid right away after the auction ended. The friendly seller (he has been communicating with me, and absolutely no problem with him) has told me that the name was pushed successfully to Sedo several days ago. Nevertheless, Sedo fails to complete the transaction, and this email from this [email protected] character hasn't been replied for over 5 days.

Anyone know what I should do? The name is paid, but they haven't asked me ANY details yet where to push, nor replied to my questions. To describe their incompetency and my feelings now would take pages, but I expected better service from a renown company.

The last email I received was something really trivial for which I haven't received a reply yet...:

You have listed a US address but have selected Canada in your Sedo account. Please
update your address details.

Now, they asked for a residence address [canada] (set in my profile years ago) and while this is my first purchase on Sedo, they prompted a billing address, for which I put my company's billing address [US]. I told them I'd be glad to edit the address if they want the same info for both, but they don't allow editing the country name once selected. So I really don't know what to do, emailing this one "dover" person is pathetic, I thought they'd have a support system where this can be done more professionally. >:(

Again, all this occurred last week and all I got was an automessage since then.

Any thoughts or suggestions for action? This is a mid $xxx transaction. :sick:

I'm in the same boat. I sold a LLL.mobi for over $600 and the buyer has sent Sedo the payment, I've started the xfer to Sedo of my domain, they have no accepted the domain name yet to complete the transfer.

No reply from "dover" e-mail ... it's been 4 days and multiple e-mails.

Very annoying!!! I wish someone at NP had an inside connection @ Sedo so we could find out what's going on over there.

Same bad here...

A buyer raised an offer and I made counter offer, then both parties made agreement. But 10 days past and no payment from Buyer to Sedo. Then I send a mail to Dover. Nothing happen except an Autoreply

Dear Sedo customer,

Please note that we are processing all requests and are aware of the current situation.

Response times at the moment are between 2-3 business days.

Try contacting Mara at sedo, she's very helpfull and maybe she can chase it up for you ?

I received this from them, this may be the hold up,hope it helps

Due to building closures following a local fire, Sedo's North American office has been temporarily closed for the week of December 11th. Basic operations will continue during this period as essential support staff will be availablevia email. Please note that there may be delays in response time during this period of time. Site access and functionality has not been affected and will continue to be maintained

My transaction is going well so far I think....I have Oliver as my rep.

12/15/06 We have received full payment for this domain.
12/15/06 The domain is now unlocked.
12/15/06 This domain requires an authorization code (AUTH-Code).

lol, Dover is the most useless person in sedo to have to deal with, I pity you very much.

My last transaction with her took 5 weeks to complete, even though I payed straight away and the domain was in their escrow account.

Don't hold your breath waiting for an email response, if you get 1 a week your doing well.

:'( Great, just my luck I get the renown slow poke for a large transaction... I wonder how they sleep at night thinking they can get away with lousy service. They owe their success to us, the customers, and from the looks of it are quickly taking advantage of our generosity :|

Identical problem now resolved - again dover did not respond to multiple emails.

Eventually sent a couple of emails to Mara with a link to the thread here.

I had sent 13 emails before I got a response. :td:

Okay good idea, I've emailed [email protected] and we'll see what she says. Hoping the seller can get his funds and I get my domain by Xmas!

I've got another domain pending right now that the buyer communicated with me he sent payment week before last, but still I sit wondering if they are going to ask for the domain ever ;)
I'm cutting a little bit of slack due to the fire, but I really don't know who is in which office.

I wone a bidding at Sedo 15 hours ago and send payment by Paypal immdiately after that. Waiting what would happen.

Very unlucky, the rep is Dover again :(

And anybody knows how Sedo arrange a Rep for a transaction? Each Rep of Sedo is taking care of some customers fixed or each transaction arranged to a Rep random?

They need to fire dover, let me show you the ONLY transaction i had with him/her:

It was for a .be name, agreement on May 26th, buyer paid soon after (June 7th).

I recieved payment on AUGUST 17th.

WTF!!? AUGUST 17th!!?!? 2 Month Delay!

My account was handled by Tom Fell who was very helpful before. Don't know why changed to Dover now :(

Still no news for both of my Sale and Order :(

I e-mailed "Mara" with a link to this thread, we'll see if my 5 day+ wait for payment to be xferred to my PayPal will go through.

It was a juicy LLL.mobi sale too! Nothing's final until I actually get the $ though, haha.
