Sedo, how much are you guys making?

Well I have like 9 sites on sedo right now. Only 2 with actual clicks. I'm getting $.03-$.10 per click. I got 55 clicks over 1 month so far. So that totals: $5.08 right now for me.
The website: www.starwars.ws is getting about $.60 a day so thaz cool! =]

They will accept top keywords only if they are appropriate to the domain.

I just found out via experience.

I have 6 domains that have clicks, and 9 that don't (this includes a few that I just listed). I have had 262 views,12 clicks that totaled $3.38. My highest keyword was banks for $.87. I used the above advise and changed alot of my keywords so hopefully I will back more.

The only time it isn't, is if it doesn't get too much type-in traffic or expired domain traffic (Where the user is searching for something in particular), then "interesting links" might be even better. I've had decent results using "interesting", expensive keywords

I know I have some bad names. Total of 55 currently listed. 61 clicks from 315 views for a grand total of $5.62 this month. The clicks come from 10 (224 views) names.

That is a good question. I work nearly every day at trying to draw traffic. Unless you have large $$$ or very lucky you ain't going to get names with typein. I got lucky on a car company name which is starting to pay its way.

It is hard work (IMHO). I just noticed that one of my quick & dirty throw up SE food names has made #6 on MSN. www.mccoy-pottery.com is now generating a bit of traffic (200-300 uniques/month)

Ive made some money on Sedo parked names but none on my listed names. They are just there to attract potential buyers... Did I see somebody here making money on just sedo listed names ...? Hows that possible..?

For those of you who don't get targetted traffic and are looking for high paying keywords, visit ultsearch.com and see what its using. Ultsearch has over a million domains parked so you can bet they know what keywords to use.

It's almost not worth the trouble of forwarding my domains to them. How are you guys promoting your domain names so that more people visit your sedo page.

I've removed many from Sedo over the months, but I have basically 3/4/5 domains there that generate 90% or more of the above revenue, IMHO. :talk:

Translation: Provides FREE ~ 4 +/- domain name reg's or renweals (at Enom/$8.95) / per month for me for doing nothing, and like others have stated here (good pioints, Zesty!) ... it's a good gauge for which domains to potentially develop down the road, as well (barometer for current interest, likelihood for either type-in's or existing traffic to build upon, etc).
Sedo is alright in my book (still haven't sold any domains through them, though)!

After reading all that I don't feel bad. I'm brand new to this, I have 13 parked names at Sedo and have generated $15.00 in ~a week. I was thinking "is this bad?" Guess not. The one site that is doing very well has only 10 hits but 50% click thru at $2.00 a pop.

I am only making about .10 a click, maybe I am not using the right keywords? Right now I am using casino and lawyer. Both are highly searched. Should I be using something else?
