The main negative: I would sale this sale has "busted the myth" about geo .tv domains. With Japan.tv and Germany.tv worth 10k clearly some people have grossly overpaid for geos recently and the premiums people are paying on many city names clearly make no sense.

IMHO, it makes more sense to buy/develop a geo (country or city) in the native language. For example: Deutschland.tv would have more value than Germany.tv. Japanese people would probably prefer Nippon.tv rather than Japan.tv...

The business model with a geo's is tourism in my view, ie marketing to people outside that are. If it doesn't have that element then their isn't much in the name. Japan and Germany represent the world's 2nd and 5th largest economies and huge tourist destinations. The market spoke today.

Aftermarket interest ... ONLY if one has very good / "Premium" type .TV's; today does very little for those that simply own any old Reg. fee+/- ".TV", IMHO. :red:

How did Job.tv ($25,500) ... obtain a higher final bid (subject to final closing and verification) than Jobs.tv ($20,500); and was the "buyer" one and the same? :blink:
