i read on another forum a guy had a good LLL.info domain that stayed at 70 euros up until the last day he paniced obviously not wanting to sell a great name for this kind of ridiculous amount and transfered the name to a friend before the auction finished.

The auction became void at the end of the time.

Looks like a good way of avoiding an extremely bad auction sale. Even though its not morally correct but if a domain is worth $x,xxx and it slips buy bidders and someone goes for a low ball and it stays at $xx i think i will do this rather than loose a name to a low ball camper.

I'm not sure how that would void a valid auction, unless the friend outbid the other bidder. Even so it is shill bidding and disallowed for most all auction sites.

Not recommended if you want any reputation at all. also, it is possible the bidder could seek damages for a fraudulent auction if the seller sold to someone else while the auction was under way.

All Sedo buyers are now certified, If he/she does not complete the sale they will not be able to do further business with Sedo.

If it does not complete then Sedo will supply you (on request) with the buyers info which you can then publish on the various forums/ blogs to ensure maximum exposure and embarrassment to the "buyer" and to make others aware that this "buyer" is untrustworthy. :td:

I don't ask Sedo for that guy data since Cheaters always registered with Fake data and change it often, so I doubt it would work even I post his file in public..

Bad man is also a part of our life
