Here's some quick thoughts:

Epik: Still new to me. Seems a bit like a racehorse that will be good after learning more. Prices seem good.

Funny comment about racehorses.

It reminds me of the early days in the 1860's when the Pony Express set the pace for delivering messages across the country. They put lightweight riders on fast horses. Nowadays we just send an instant message or email instantly for free. Pretty profound that this was just 2 lifetimes ago!

Uniregistry best working Parking service. Sales depend on the broker you receive by accident for an inquiry/offer. Some are extremely committed and clever, others are not
Very true. They may be able to exclude a particular broker from serving your leads, if you ask and provide a reason. One time this feeling was mutual (at least one broker opted out from my leads even before I asked, as I was not the easiest seller to deal with. Did not like when they responded to a buyer after a week for example). A major issue with Uni is that their emails are often ending up in spam folders, so many potential buyers never see the responses. So I stopped using them...

They use SendGrid SMTP... some of SG IPs are in various blacklists... that's why they can be filtered by the destination server.
Launch their LiveChat and inform...

And the same SG issues @ParkingCrew.
I have asked them twice last year... but no any changes.

Overall, try to use Uni only for BIN domains...

I use ParkingCrew/Bodis and Sedo escrow.
+ Dan escrow for 3F sales (never had any serious buyers on my Dan parked domains)...

+ in 2020 I use Epik for my Epik domains...

+ some BIN domains are listed&parked on Sedo or Uni...

If I might say, we are fortunate that we have so many good choices.

I think the traditional big places, Afternic and Sedo, have both improved and given more or better lander options, DAN with its strong landers and other innovations has made inroads, and the registrar marketplaces such as Uniregistry, Epik, GoDaddy, Dynadot, NameSilo and Namecheap offer easy listings, features for those who want something not offered by the big sites, and generally good commissions, often with no minimums.

Several of the options have agent networks that will negotiate for you, if that is what you want.

We of course also have all of the brandable marketplaces, as well as Efty who have strengthened their offerings in many ways. There are multiple ways to offer payment plans, and with Epik landers if you so wish you can have custom images, hyperlinks, extensive formatted text and more. Then there are the parking company landers, and several other options I have not mentioned. And of course you can sell to domainers here on NamePros.

If I look at the options we had almost 3 years ago when I started domaining in a semi-serious way, compared to now, we have so many more superb choices. Now the problem is not that we don't have a good choice, but which one(s) to use!

Also, Dofo makes it easy for end-users to find our domains from a single place, no matter where we have them. I just noticed today (maybe it has always been there?) that when you have a name that is Dofo-listed and for sale when you hover over the Buy Now if it is available at more than one place it will show up in a list showing the prices, if given, at different venues. An easy way to check where your name is listed (or if someone else has it listed). One of my names I noticed shows up as listed at SnapNames at the same price as my Afternic listing. I never listed it there. Do they just grab the information from the Afternic premium network?

So in short, so many great choices :xf.smile: of places to list your names and landers for them! Let's make the most of them and sell, sell, sell!

Bob

SnapNames, NameJet, NetSol are owned by Web.com - and they all are covered by Afternic.

While I donยดt hesitate to mention flaws and bugs I am shy to criticize staff in general. I am no employees supervisor and would dislike to hurt someoneยดs professional existence.

Though I sometimes could explode when the following issue happens.

Sadly, every E-Mail is shown as *Spam*, yes.

Uniregistry always used to have an excellent documentation. You could look into the inquirerยดs details and the whole negotiation chat. It seems that they reduced the data they share with the domain owner a few months ago.

I started to use Epik brokers recently. They share their E-Mails between broker and buyer with you in Bcc which is good. I would prefer to be able to look-up their progress in my Epik account instead of looking into old E-mails later. Do you plan to add a documentation folder or tab for negotiation progress @Rob Monster or is there already something like that?

Full CRM is coming online this month before NamesCon. And right after that, migration tools for legacy CRM data from external CRM providers starting with Uni DNS.

I am no employees supervisor
Broker-buyer and broker-seller communications are periodically reviewed by real uni supervisors anyway afaik...

I use Google mail - and Uni emails are landing into my Inbox...
So very probably: your Email provider uses some blacklist where SendGrid IPs are banned... that's why it happens for you...

Interesting. Is this a collaboration between Uni and Epik or just Software based data export/import?

Yeah, still in beta with no visible intention to improve. I've reported various issues and posted suggestions both in their thread @ NP at directly to my acct. manager. Some things were fixed, most are not. So I'm still forwarding forsale-only domains, where no parking income is necessary, to their old "domain details" page.

Years ago ago UNI gave me the option of selecting which broker I refer the inquiry to from a drop-down menu (they may not offer it now but it still works for me) which is customized with the names of my favorite UNI brokers. I can also submit it to a random UNI domain broker if desired.

UNI is the best brokerage (IMO), especially if using get a price quote upon request horizontal landing page.

Yes, we are. I love your optimism and your ability to see the glass half full and not half empty (translated from German, is it used in English like that?). This positivism may be part of the American (in this respect including Canadian) culture. Europeans are ranting more, donยดt they? Just because I often thought about differences in judging and communicating the quality of services.

I also agree UNI is the best especially their get a price quote upon request horizontal landing page.
I love their parking effectiveness and payout. And I will never forget the E-Mail chat I had with Mr. Schilling himself when they started DomainNameSales.com. Hey they let me in to their platform though my portfolio was not really worth being considered then.

One reason to use multiple is that different domains will be better suited to different platforms.

Bob makes a great point!
I'd be interested to know where my fellow domain investors choose to list certain types of names like:
Brandable (made up)
2 word domains
1 word domains
Your highest value domains
