Sedo Account Closed

Hello, i have just tried to login to my Sedo account to see how the transaction of a domain i sent payment for is going and i have found that sedo have closed my account whilst in the process of purchasing a name which ive already sent payment for.

Has anyone else had their account closed for no reason?

What should i do?

Tried contacting Sedo although they have not replied as of yet.

It doesnt bother me that it has closed although i am halfway through purchasing a domain that i have paid for so im scared i will not receive it.

I have never heard of this either. I am sure SEDO will make it right.

What message do you see that says they closed your account - and don't be coy on this one, but what reason do you think they may have for closing your account?

When i go to forgot password and i add my e-mail i get, You account has been closed.

Think i may have a reason why it may have been shut as one of my mates who buys and sells domains as well recently made a legitemit bid on one of my domains unaware that it was mine.
He lives about 60KM from where i live so they may have thought it was a fake bid to auction the domain.

I will have to contact them and try and resolve the issue.

if he's a mate, why not use paypal to sell to him/her the domain instead of using sedo, that might be the mistake, just a thought.

I guess Sedo would send you a mail when Closing account. Right?
If you don't get any offcial mail from Sedo, I doubt it was really closed

I knew this was coming. This has been happening on many names at Sedo. Fake bidding is really obnoxious. Did they send out a warning email before, to avoid doing this.

They give out a warning and then if it repeats they close the account.

My friend who made a bid on the domain did not know it was mine i own a few CCC.com domains and he is at present buying lots of CCC.com so happens he made a bid on one of my names.
