In your experience, Which extension do you think is the second choice (after .com) for non-tech businesses ?

Tech businesses have several alternates like Io, ai, xyz etc. This poll is specific to non-tech businesses.

It depends on the term.

I would personally take .org where it fits, but in general I would take .net.

I know it gets a lot of crap from investors but .net is way more recognized and used by the average person than .xyz, .io, .ai, .co, etc.

In the US, I would probably take a .us after .org and .net. I would rather use the ccTLD than some oddball extension.

.org for Commercial businesses ?

Where it fits.

There are fields like education, legal, health, etc. where it can actually fit well.

If it is some business like carpet cleaning, it would obviously not be a good fit.

.co

Since .co may be understood as "Company"

.org for Commercial businesses ?
I have run a commercial business off a .org in the past and they work well.

Org or Net get my vote as they are so common and well trusted by end users.

I think it depends on the type of business. I like the alternative tlds if the words make sense like payroll.tax, art.supplies, etc. But in general .co and .net work.
