The domain aftermarket still seems to operate on a 10+ year old mantra that the sweet sales spot is $2,500 dollars. It seems that it's time for investors to raise their minimum expectations and prices. An interesting discussion for the immediate future!

Network Solutions Transfer of Domain Time Period
Network Solutions is the oldest domain registrar and for some, the only choice. It's also known for taking forever to let domains out of its management citing security reasons, even when the registrant is fully authorized to perform such a request. A domain investor is trying to find out just how long it takes for transfers out to complete. Short answer: No-one really knows!

Many negotiations at Afternic start off "warm" and cool down pretty quickly, with the potential buyer turning incommunicado. Time passes and trends change, along with them the medium that carries people's voices. Generation Z is using tiktok and instagram as search engines, instead of the almighty Google. This definitely affects how domain investors target buyers and what types of keywords appeal the most.
