Scrolling LED T-Shirt Arrived

My scrolling LED shirt came.. The attached pic shows a default message (WELCOME).

The shirt was an XL which apparently is two sizes too small for me :hehe: unless the men in Australia (where this came from) are really, really "petite".

Anyway, the data entry is accomplished with only three buttons (enter, up, & down) and is a bear to program so I haven't attempted it as yet.

Mine came out of Australia. I think it was a bit over $42USD, including air shipping.. do a search on eBay for "scrolling message tshirt"

Nice Dave. I love all of your led stuff. I might get some of them soon. They look awesome. Also Dave you should start having people pay you so you can advertise for them on your LED stuff, lol.

That's actually one of the reasons I started looking into it... looking for one that will allow me to program it via PC.. going to look into trying to hack the circuit board on one of these & possibly add a USB port.

In the meantime, I'll wear it when I make videos for YouTube, etc.

Also Dave you should start having people pay you so you can advertise for them on your LED stuff, lol.

I haven't any idea what I'd charge as yet, but plan to upload any videos to multiple video sharing sites (youtube, metacafe, break, dailymotion, etc).. give me some ideas on subjects!

I'm also thinking the video doesn't have to be related to the advertising itself (they can be two separate subjects).

Anyone interested, just PM me with ideas!
