Got My New Hat Off eBay!

OK, it doesn't show well in the pic but I just got my new scrolling LED message hat today in the mail ($8.00 including shipping off eBay).

It accepts any message up to 168 characters and has 7 scrolling speeds and brightness levels.

It's kinda tough to program tho as it programs via a PG UP/PG DN and Enter button, which is kinda tedious!

Figure I'll play with it and maybe use it to adverise my sites while I'm out or maybe rent the space out to an advertiser!

I have a shirt coming this week that has a 13cm message space on the chest that works pretty much the same way.

I'll try and see how it looks in a video later but for now, take a look at the attached pic. The letters are blurry in the pic because I had the intensity all the way up. Will play with it later!

The letters are probably blurry because I had the LEDs at the highest intensity.. I'll set the intensity lower and see if that helps. They look fine to the eye, just didn't cam very well.

Works very nicely at night and perfectly readable during the day as well..

As for a cam, I really like the Creative Live! IM Pro I bought off eBay (NIB) for $15.
