- the content is almost fully unique. only 1 site has the same scripts: http://altercoder.com which is sold by me[transaction still pending]
- i will never make a site like this so you get exclusive rights for the scripts
- altercoder.com made tons of cash without paid promotion. phpstuff can do the same too

Yeap I agree, you have to encrypt the payment page. You can do that on paypal to set the encryption for the page.

No you never said that, i purchased altercoder.com off of you with all of the scripts which means i now own them. Do you even know what selling a website with all your script means?

Along with many things you told me which i am ever finding out more and more are untrue.

And since you already sold to me no one but me has the rights to the scripts, this website you are selling in this thread should not even be up on the net.

The code itself is extremely messy and insecure.

Sorry if i am "post hijacking" but i purchased from this seller before (altercoder.com) and believe i was pretty much swindled out of my money into a really bad deal.

The thread you link to has nothing to do with the site you sold me to which i am extremely unhappy about, you should have linked me to that thread if it had anything to do with our sale hence it not, you said nothing about keeping any rights before, i am extremely unhappy with the sale.

If you have a broker selling for you, he must include all the details, it was a legit sale, i own the scripts, and therefore request this post and that website be taken down.

hi all!

I'm thinking of selling my script shop website. Not sure about selling but if I receive a good bid i'm sure I will :D

so:
- domain: altercoder.com - PR3 - expires in about a year
- content:
~ site is powered by my self made shop script, with resellers feature and opportunity to list products by anyone(for selling fee)
~ site currently have about 50 products. Some of them developed by me some of them I bought with resell rights. over some 1000's of $ worth. buyer will receive these products with master resell rights(however I keep resell rights too for myself)

- traffic: not too much now since we suffered a hacker attact lately and had to redesign the script and the database and most of resellers went away
- revenue: about 150-300$ per month from script selling (with good promotion it can be much more)

so I'm open for reasonable bids now!

So he has retained resale rights ONLY to the scripts but he has clearly set up another such site giving out master rights!

That seems proof to me he is just reselling the same packages despite saying he will not

and that is totally dishonest!

liam: you are a programmer, I'm a programmer. if you have problems with the site we could discuss it(like we did before). You agreed that you pay me full once you get the site. It didnt happened and you told me you will pay next month :S Tomorrow is the deadline. If you dont pay me I will do legal steps.

As I have coded these products I think I deserve the rights for them. Highest bid so far: $100

The point is that is not the thread we discussed business in, he had another thread by his "broker" which stated i got everything basically, if he wanted to retain rights he would of pointed me to the other thread.

Exactly which is why i am now in this thread trying to get it removed and is why i am totally unhappy, i wouldn't be supriused if we saw another site like it pop up that he tries to sell.

Do what you wish gen but your sale to me is infact a load of bollacks i will not payup now since this, i beleive what i have paid at the moment is a completely fair price since you are now trying to swindle me and someone else out of more money.

I see you also tried to takeover my domain, pitty i made it to my email since i now own it, not you.

Well me and gen seem to have kinda sorted our issues out.

Apparently, he has ignored my emails and IMs requesting that he pay the broker fee we have agreed upon when we worked out the deal. This is why I require cpanel access from clients before going through the trouble of 'prettying-up' and listing a website for sale. Yes, I also have a copy of the complete website sitting on my desktop.

However, gengolia has already PMed me apologizing for disappearing. Hopefully he will pay me in full sometime soon for my services. I have, after all, spent time and money getting the site ready, and listing the website for sale at numerous places, including paid listings.
