Hi

I have about $1,000 my company is giving me for education. I really would like to spend it towards domain education. What do you think is the best way to spend it.

I know you guys know some good stuff out there. Any online courses or seminars you know about.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much.

Domainer Education

My first thought is that you should hire some domainer to provide you with the best in personal instruction... :)

But I really don't know of any "formal" educational resources that are out there. It's about time that some appeared and if I was more knowledgable I would create one myself. It's a great idea.

If you could do some self-directed study, I would do that and just start spending as much time as possible learning about the industry. You won't be able to use the money your company is providing for that, but you could use if for something else like learning web design (AWDSF.com), Linux, or something else web-related.

Hello, and welcome to Namepros. IMHO, you may not have to spend a dime just yet. READ through this board. It is truly an EDUCATION.

Thanks everyone . . .

I am reading everything out there but I have $1,000 that my company will pay towards education. I either use it or lose it.

What would you spend it on (education only of course)? I need to spend that $1,000. Any suggestions???????

Nielsencl . . .Thanks for that. I responded first before I saw your comment about web design. That is a great suggestion and I think that is what I will do. Thanks so much.

No problem. Web design, webmastering, PHP programming, are all good but it depends on where your interests are. You don't really need any of them for domaining.
