Scammed by Network Solutions?

Well the domain in question clearly shows a 7/21/2016 expiration. Seems pretty clear that that domain is not expired. And as you said, you can't transfer an expired domain. This should be interesting to watch for an explanation.

i told you everything that needed to be known. now hes acting like the victim in all of this so he can get the domain for free.....

That is sad but before reaching a conclusion we would like to hear two side stories. As far as I know both Rodman and Chetan are great guys.

For the future, consider not using paypal for larger transactions.

I do not think he is a scammer especially looking at his trade history here on NP. Also cannot agree with the cuss words you are using against him repeatedly in a platform like this without any proofs. As far as the domain is expiring in 2016 claim, it could have got renewed after transfer (?). Also, it is possible to transfer out an expired domain (what are you guys talking?) Also about the Paypal, why are you grilling him for not offering you friends and family option? It is quite common people prefer that.

Let me wait and watch who's scammer and who's not.

Some registrars automatically add one year renewal when a domain is transfer to them.

but it couldn't be since it expires in July
We are now in September

I purchased a domain Lio.net from James on sept 2nd and this domain was removed from my account all of a sudden.
When I called Network solution then I was surprised to hear that domain is deleted from my account and is near New Ventures LLC and I was supposed to buy it form them.
I have opened a ticket an Network soution and will soon post it here all the updates
In short I was given a domain that was already expired one by Mr. Ertugrul aka James rodman
