Ok, so it's not the best example of a name, but it's a great example of how television and .TV are going hand in hand. They broadcast a live television show here on the weekends, showing the best deals on local autos for sale, and it refers people to the web site. They also advertise the site itself with a local commercial campaign.

Anyway, I thought it was interesting.

Excellent -db-! That is a GREAT example of the potential of .TV for more than just the "BIG" media compaines. IMO; the name is perfect. It states exatly what one would expect to find on that "Channel". I think that the use of the internet when looking to buy a car is a huge business, looking for reviews, prices, etc... I would imagine the surfers in the Dallas area looking for a car deal will easily find that site worth a visit.

I recently saw an advertisement for magicbells.tv on the Korean channel. Not sure exactly what it was for but it's another .tv site. The .tv domain space is growing.

In fact i was over in ireland at the weekend and notice UTV (Ulster tv) is using u.tv as their preffered name of choice...

I wonder ho much they paid for it...
