I have seen some names for sale that are advertising a google page rank 1,2,3. Not here at NamePros, But on ebay and ect.
Ok, Here is the deal. These type of names are dropped, and picked up by some one who will sell them based on their current google page rank, Their page rank will dissipate very quickly. That is not to say that some of the names with page rank wont get a little traffic from the page rank, They may, And "A little" For a very short period of time.
People try and sell these names at premium prices because they have current page rank.
My advise, And this post is just to give you folks a heads up. Don't purchase those names based on them having current page rank. They will lose their page rank very quickly. Therefore you will be way over paying because you think you are getting a traffic name.
I had thought the tactic of people doing this had played out a long time ago, Apparently not, I have seen them for sale recently.
Again, Just a heads up on the subject of domains with google PR.
