Sansa competes with ipod

Read this a few minutes ago. Do you think there will be a rush on sansa names?

I got sansasongs.com and mysansa.com just in case.......... :hi:

There are TON of these type of mp3 players getting released each day. None of them are even close to competing with the ipod brand.

I agree with sam, so far there have been many potential "ipod killers", none of which have succeeded. Although the other mp3 players have much better features, people are more inclined to buy an ipod because everyone else has one. It's the latest trend, and sooner or later it'll be replaced with something else.

I own a Creative Zen Micro, and when some people I knew saw it for the first time, they asked me, "Is that an ipod?". It seems the iPod has replaced the word mp3 player. Just for fun, I told them it was a 5th generation iPod and that Apple decided to get rid of the click wheel... they took in every word I said. :hehe:

There has been a light in ikea for a while called Sansa.
I just checked and according to here it means "calm down."

Don't know how true this is, any Swedish people on Namepros?

The Sansa mp3 players have been out for awhile now. They are no competition for the iPod, while I think SansaSongs.com is a pretty good name don't everyone rush into purchasing these names as the Sansa players are sold at local electronic stores and even supermarkets in my area and they are mainly considered throw-aways compared to Apples Ipod.

Also, I'd rather not have potential TM issues with any of my domains. If you use google in any domain without their permission, they will come after you. Likewise, with a popular mp3 player... the company might do the same.
