Sales site delisting annoyance @$&!?#

I had a single sale earlier in the week of 79 domain sold from this forum. I tend to get a little lax when selling names and sometimes forget to remove them from sales sites like sedo or afternic. With this many names, I thouht I'd better go ahead and do my maintenance while the info was fresh. I had to remove the names from sedo.com, afternic.com, fabulous.com, and my domainsellerpro site. I'm glad I didn't have them listed at a couple other possible places. It took less time to process transfers on 79 names from four different registrars that it did to remove them from all the places they were listed for sale. Some were easier than others, but none as simple to remove them as to add them.

All the sites have methods for bulk addition of domains, but non have a method to remove names in bulk. No wonder so many domains stay listed that aren't even owned by the person who listed them. It's too darn hard to get them removed. If you work or have contacts at any of these sites, please take note. there should be a simple way to bulk remove a list of names. Actually, this should be easier than listing, since they don't have to be categorized or have descriptions or prices. Just a plain old upload of a list to delete and confirm.

I think they make it hard so that you migh tthink twice before removing htem and lisitng with some other site.

I agree, they need to make removal much easier and less time consuming.

Well if it's so hard have you tried contacting the WebMaster they should be able to do something about it right???..if not then they need to seriously do something.

Dealing with support is often worse than dealing with the interface. Besides, I'm kind of a hands on person, and a male who doesn't like to ask for help, directions, or read instruction manuals before building things.

But I think you'd be better off contacting support and telling them to delist your domains for you when you have a lot to delist. No matter if you are a manly man or not. Either that or do it yourself and come here to bitch, right? LOL

Seriously. I would conact support next time you have to delist too many at once. Afterall, it is to their benefit as much as yours if you already sold the domains anyway. They don't want a marketplace full of bogus offereings. Or maybe they do. Who knows?

Whenever I buy a name that is listed on Sedo or Afternic, I would normally send a simple email to them (as the new owner) and they will always delist without hassle within 3-5 days.

yes, I know sedo support will do it for you. Last time I forgot my password, so I simply emailed for couple of my expired domains.
