Subliminally, (and this is my judgement call) CC looks like it a natural fit with the term "Sailing". ~ Sailing.CC ~
Perhaps, this has something to do with a few, possible, associations, such as, Sea - "C", C - Coast and, of course, the tld's namesake, the Cocos Islands is, easily, identifiable with sailing. There are, also, some vaguer allusions: Country Club ->Yacht Club and the fact that initials are commonly associated with ships and boat names might play into it. (ie. HMS, USS, etc.) It's hard to put a finger on it but there is something that is definitely there.
