It just dropped at snap - I think this is a very nice name and will probably go for a fair bit but I would be interested to know if you think the plural would be better/more valuable in this case ? (based on name only)

Google shows about 7 x more results for "sail boat charter" (singular)

The plural/singular thing often confuses me, any thoughts on this example ? How do you decide ?

For me, anyway I decide based on how it sounds to me, and if the search keyword im looking for is Plural or Singular.

For example... I want a Battery. But they dont sell them individually, so I really am looking for Batteries.

I like Batteries vs Battery

Now, in my mind, Im not looking for several sail boat charters, just 1. I think I prefer SailBoatCharter.com to the plural.

I got married in Destin, FL, and before we went I went looking for charters for a day.

It was a few years ago, but I did search for "fishing boat charters" and "sailing charter boats".

Too bad it is three words, but you might get a little out of it.
