Appraise me!

Struggling with this one. Obviously an awesome name with a variety of uses. I picked it up in an auction.

One idea is that I can just keep it and develop it into some sort of a marketing design. That is what soda.com is being used for.

4 characters, extremely easy to type out, go ahead, try.

I like the concept. Typing s0da.com was not difficult especially since the zero is a little northeast of the o! Are you thinking a health campaign? Against sodas. Like 0 soda or S0da . . . like what I did there. I know you do!

If the anti soda sugar folks are interested I see Mid XXX to low XXXX. Otherwise developing it your self as anti soda could be the way to go! Crystal Light or Gatorade . . . might like 0 soda or S0da!!

I don't think it has much value, BUT if it has more that's the only reason is what you said above.

These names are novelty items, too confusing to be advertised or used for serious branding. That's why you won't find many sales if any. When was the last time you saw an ad with a name like this ?
If you want to brand a name like Cokezero, you use the name in full without gimmicks.

I don't believe the domain is worth millions, but to an end user, way more than $150. =) To a domainer, I can see it.

I will try to market it to end users myself and see. Worst case, flippa.

I can easily see it sell for 5K+ to enduser. It may sell for 250 K if person cant tell the difference between 0 and o thats always a possibility! I see people buy typos all the time for insane amounts.

This one doesn't qualify as a typo. Nobody is going to confuse 0 with O on the keyboard.

It would not be a logical/spelling typo, but the o and 0 are next to each other on a keyboard so would be a keystroke misstrike typo

At best a few hundred, as an end user, I wouldn't want the confusion. Although I personally have some 2C ccTLD leet hacks
Would not risk it at auction without reserve

fwiw OP didn't mention hoping the 0 would go for o . . .

Clearly the 0 cal/0 sugar soda idea is super solid and makes a ton of sense AND fixes/enhances any perceived problem with having a 0 in domain.

trademark aside c0ke.com does the exact same thing, except in this case s0da.com is way better!

B0nd.com, where we add 0 extra fees on your bond!

L0ve.com where the lonely and rejected go looking for love!

c0p.com, stretches of why where you can fly, pass go collect 200, and skip jail

You are correct that they might file a UDRP claim. If he is saying 0 calories or 0 sugar then it is BS for them to file a claim. If they see S0da.com as a threat they would be wise to move in and purchase it. I can't speak to whether OP prefers development to a sale, but I have found @maksimfa to be one of the more reasonable people I have encountered. I think a sale could be arranged quite nicely before legal would even be needed.
