Running SMF Database...?

I had an SMF forum and right before the servers crashed I backed up the database. Unfortunately, it won't run properly when I try to run it on the latest CPanel version. Anyone know how to re-install an SMF database?

If the backup is just a plain SQL file, you should be able to upload it via phpMyAdmin and restore that way.

Mikor is right on target. Hopefully you have access to phpMyAdmin I would imagine you do. If not then I recommend opening a support request and see if your hosting provide can assist you if need be.

Tried it and it worked. Thanks you guys! I thought it would work if I ran it (that's what I usually do).
