Basically, the only reason I took it was because everything else seemed to be taken.

Is there a potential for a domain flip or would you suggest developing a site?

Those other extensions are all taken but I dont see a site of any of the ones I checked.
I dont think there is much value in this term.
Building a site can give any name some value but Id rate the name itself reg fee.
You could try contacting the owners of the other extensions and see if they are interested in buying the info.

I know of "Route 66" but have never heard anyone say it as "R 66". I hope you got for .99 cents. That is all I see it as being worth, but maybe do like Timewarp suggested and offer it to the owners of the other extensions.
