The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Because it is a mega domain, probably has many searches too.

Because online gambling is hugely profitable.

Roulette is a popular online game and a nice generally 'term' to refer to gambling.

It's super memorable.

Owning a domain like this would convey legitimacy, which is important if you're a gambling company.

The type of businessess that would want this domain have deep pockets.

What would be your appraisal?

It's an absolute category killer domain in a very profitable market

It's out of my reach so I am not going to waste my time ask why.

I’m guessing gambling is against your moral values.
Roulette is a priceless word and you know it.
Even ”Russian Roulette” comes to mind 😅

Thanks Truespin......Roulette.com doesn't connect to anything as far as I can tell? I just registered Roulette.xxxx based on my knowledge of the gambling industry and comments like yours.

Even your moniker "Truespin" adds value to "Roulette".....i appreciate your comments. Thanks again.

It shouldn’t be that much because it will get misspelled every time.
Hi

back in the days of "Big Roar" ppc @ Fabulous,
when sites like PokerStars.net and UltimateBet.net were hot as firecrackers...

i used to own roulett.net and the typo traffic along with the high paying clicks, produced some nice rev back then.

an oddity of those times was that .net typos received more traffic than .com typo's, for gambling sites and some terms then.

imo...

No....just being involved in the domain business shows I'm a gambler. I'm perplexed as to why the .com doesn't connect to either a landing page or an actual site where gamblers can play roulette online.

People sitting on domains like this are usually not in a hurry to sell or make money from it.

Maybe the owner just wants to flex his @roulette email address. Who knows?

This just goes to show how fuxked up this industry is. However I've got some excellent responses that can "add value" for when I take Roulette.xxxx to market.....there just has to be a Pony in this manure heap somewhere:xf.grin:

You have been on NamePros since 2017. Do you really not understand why a top tier single word .COM is worth a lot of money?

Let me introduce you to a concept called supply and demand.

There is far more demand than supply of high quality .COM domains.

Unlike oddball extensions like .link, .online, .realty, or whatever else. There is far more supply than demand.

Because it's an amazing domain. Odd that you've been on here since 2017 but don't understand why a dictionary single word .com is worth a lot of money. It's all about supply and demand. It differs from oddball extensions like .link and others as those have more supply than demand. .COM will always be king and it's main competitor in NGTLD is .xyz. In regular GTLDS .de and .ru are popular. .CO & .IO are decent. But, for the most part stick to .com.

Chatroulette was a notable site for a while, too. You have to price it for if they ever got another round of funding and wanted to upgrade, etc.

Brad....with regards to "Supply and Demand".....having majored in Economics in college I probably understand supply and demand better than most NamePros members. What you FAIL to realize is that when a particular .com is unavailable for a plethora of reasons, actual alternatives do exist.

Accordingly there's minimal demand for Roulette.com, however there are real alternatives. Just go to Roulette.Casino if you don't believe me.

In all due respect you sound like Brad Jr:xf.rolleyes: Speaking of "supply and demand", there are all sorts of things that determine both supply and demand. I'm a business guy who happens to have started, named and operated several successful businesses over the years.....as such I consider myself a dealer of domains similar to a dealer of cars, and if my brand of car is to sell it's up to ME to make it happen(y)

None, of us would debate their are alternatives but their is only one .com for it. .COM is king. the bad part about doing the .casino is some might not remember it in my opinion a domain which has been taken since 1998 roulettecasino(.)com is a lot better than roulette.casino. Dictionary .coms without 'ed' 'ing' 's' 'er' are rare. These are apples and oranges, if you have experience to sell non-.com's go for it but if you want to sell more stick with .com.

?????......what in the world are you talking about? Do you mean "if" you owned Roulette.com and i researched it to learn an independent appraisers valuation, you would somehow be upset? Have you ever heard of a "comparable" in real estate? I guess not:xf.rolleyes:
