Does anyone know roughly how many LLN 3 character .orgs are left?
More looking for a ballpark than an exact number.
Thanks!

.US domains.US domains
well i just checked about 500domains at moniker and out of them 108 were available.

so i think overall out of 6000 LLN.org names more than 1200 should be available as of now ;)

Someone should invest $1,200 into .orgs and take those all, if thats the case.

it has already happened twice already.. some tasters regged all the CCC.org names and left not a single one :(

but luckily they dropped almost all after 4 days ;)

also, the problem does not solve itself even after investing 1200$.. there are still other CCC.org names which are available

I agree that is not a wise thing to do. they will just expire or the cost will not be worth it. it's better to get a smaller amount and get higher quality names. but if you have the money feel free to. anyway .org has less value anyway.

one thing that is worth noting is that all the CCC.com, CCC.net , CCC.info domains are gone

CCC.net have actually decreased in value over the past months and now do not fetch too much :(
therefore i do not bank upon CCC.org names gaining any value

i believe there are already too many CCC extensions which have been taken and the prices of only these will rise..

Nah, there I must disagree, the CCC.nets will go up... However I don't believe we will ever see CCC.biz be worth anything.

well ccc.net willdefinately go up i agree also but what i meant was that there were sufficient extensions with CCC domains and there was no further scope of any new extension.
For example i do not see any value in CCC.org, CCC.us, CCC.biz any time soon..

You also have to remember that, although .org may not be as popular among resellers, .org is far more popular (and more widely used) than both .info and .net .

I hold about 150 CCC.net's and don't plan to sell cheap. I do believe they will go up to the $20-$30 range by next year. It's inevitable simply because of reg fees. To sell below that will be a loss. Once they start selling in that range on a regular basis you will see incremental increases..probably not nearly as quick as CCC.com's went up but I can see within 5 years them being $50-$100 which makes them a good hold.

I do believe that .org is more welcome than .net for end users if the keywords are match with .org.

I have bought about 30+ .org and have 2 sales already ($500 for one and $2500 for another. Both names are bought at low $xx and sold out in 3 months) :)

Would invest more in .org (nice .com is not easy to get, .net is not worth too much in my idea)

what is the reason for the ccc.net decrease in value?

my personal opinion is this:
the only CCC.net that sellers were selling were those that were about to expire therefore a domain which should have gone for 20$ if it were having full one year left reduced to about 15$ or so

this showed decrease in value of sales and thereby 3character.com reduced the listed prices for ccc.net domains also

a lot of people follow 3character.com and therefore it ultimately brought a further reduction in price where even domains with full one year left on them, also reduced their value..

it was a vicious-circle which continued ;)

3 char .orgs do not get good sales.

At the moment, yes. There is no doubt, however, that this will change in the near future.

Hey Jesse, did you get them all out of registerfly? I'm sure that was a mess!
