Looks legit as the domain is linking to the auction too. It's at 8k right now with reserve not met. Wonder what it will go for? It has to be worth WAY more than this to his campaign right?

Domain is linking to it and a high reserve. I think it is legit. I think now is a good time to sell cause I think Ron Paul is going to quit running soon. :imho:

He can't win, any nomination. But it doesn't matter. He's proven how much Internet peole absolutely adore him with what amounts to political fanboy-dom, you'd think he works at Apple.

His star should continue to be high (good for a buyer), though now's a good time to sell while he's ahead (domain-wise that is).

Winning bid 25k, that is lower than what I thought it would sell for. I don't think that the buyer is the candidate though as username on ebay is "domaininsider". Think it will be easy to flip at that price?

The thing is, the present owner, registered this name 8 years ago. So I don't think he'll encounter any problem. Right?

This one was regged long ago, as were most common first and last name combos. No danger of cybersquatting here. I too hope the campaign is the end user for this domain and not an opponent of his, as much as they fear him it could be bad.

Ron Paul narrowly in SECOND PLACE behind McCain in Louisiana!!

Let's see if the MSM even mentions it. Some stations completely left Paul off the Nevada leaderboard where he was 2nd. FoxNews and CNN showed McCain in 2nd behind Romney, ignoring Paul.

In the US I think there are at least three things:

1.) He is a public figure and not a celebrity so I believe the rules are different.
2.) The election is only a few months away and I think the owner could drag this on longer than that.
3.) When you are running for President do you want to look like the jerk?
