Why should anyone be soooooooooo surprised. He ran on the '88 presidential election on the Libertarian ticket and lost. He may say a lot of quality things that the US government should do, but cant get enough support and or votes. And thats even with record breaking records on donations via the internet. It would nearly impossible for Paul to ever get elected as the US President.
