What do you all think of ROBOT SUITS??
I've been reading about robot suits and other cybernetic suit technologies in the news recently. I am almost certain this is something that will take the world by storm within the coming years and become part of everyday living.
I bought a domain name and am going to make a site that reviews all of the different types of suits on the market and in development, Robot Suits. I currently have videos for 9 different types of suits in development posted, check 'em out!
These suits are cool, IMO. And even though most of them are being developed for people with movement disabilities and the military, I think they will hit the mainstream market quickly, might even be like a new form of transportation or something. There are even musical bot suits, I have a video of one on the site.
Here is a picture of what is probably the most developed, ready to sell, BOT suit today, the HAL5. This suit is being mass produced this year, (400 units), and sold in Japan. Next year they plan to sell in the EU and after that the WORLD.. lol
One interesting point about the HAL5 is that it is being produced by a company in Japan called Cyberdyne. The inventor and owner of the company is a big scifi buff, I wonder if he named his compnay after the company responsible for the Terminator on the movie on purpose? lol
What do you think of these? Do you want one.. LOL I do!
