I sold this one :xf.wink:
Congratulations and Kudos on a great sale, @NameAgency ! (I had a feeling someone around here put that money in their pocket!๐Ÿค‘)

Also, great foresight to price the name that aggressively... (I think a lot of folks are letting these "Robo" related names go much too cheaply, given the size of the predicted market and the venture-fueled heat on the vertical...)

Personally, I think someone got an absolute steal on that name, given that VR appears to be an integral part of teleoperation (remote-op) of robots.

(But I may be biased, as I'm still holding VRrobot / king, and hoping for a 50x multiple of that selling price.๐Ÿคฉ)

It was a NameSilo expired domain, so maybe bidders didnโ€™t have enough time to evaluate it properly. Iโ€™m not sure whether $305 was a good value or not.

vrrobotics.com

I know this is subjective, but the two "rr"s together makes it read funny. Maybe that was a factor. Still very cheap though.

The more common (general) term for this is Bio-inspired Robotics. These Robots learn from from biology, but do not necessarily exact copy. The term "Biomimetic Robots" is about robots that imitate biological mechanisms more literally.

A slightly more formal synonym of bio-inspired is "Biologically inspired robots". And finally we have "Biomorphic robots", where the emphasis is more on shape/form resembling organisms (used in design/art/etc).

Thanks. It was a domain from my own portfolio.
I also sold EliteRobotics.com for $12500 a couple of months ago via Efty.

Not sure on the first two.....but like the "granular" keyword, I might be a tad early on adoption though :xf.smile:

Only 7, but rising!

10 if you include a few others with .bot extensions, like AGI.bot, etc.

Interesting, looks like it's about 45 for me. I didn't realise it was so many. I know that @Future Sensors' portfolio is 4 or 5 times larger than mine.

Edit: A number of mine are hand reg's, so the cost of acquisition isn't too bad, despite being around 5% of my portfolio.
