Detailed Analysis

I was surprised to find the link led to a forum, not a website. My first impression was the website was going to be about road safety/car related, but obviously not. The main issue that you need to fix up is the website appearance. It is very dark and doesn't suit the forum well. Try considering a lighter theme, and a better logo to suit the forum. The red stripes on the left are meant to be tire marks I assume, but they just don't look good.

Your menu could also be improved. "Galleries" is spelt incorrectly. Even something as simple as FAQ :: Search :: Register :: Profile would be good. With your navigation menu on the right, the Advertise link doesn't work [http://roadbusters.com/advertise] and you should center your Google Ads. According to the Google Adsense Terms, you may not place ads in boxes with titles other than "Advertisements" or "Sponsored Links", so you should also change that.

Your forum descriptions need to be redone in a more professional manner. "Yea yea... so its not a car exactly... but what the heck! lol" is not a very good example for someone from the outside to see your forum as. Your Forum Articles [http://roadbusters.com/articles/] are a good idea. It will be good to expand on that.

Lastly, advertise your forum. Run contests, and get loyal members to advertise.

Good luck.

Yea... it is a forum, but the design is my own. Its not a forum template or anything. I made it myself! :D

try racing stripes! lol :) Soon I hope to have an option in the profile screen to change the color of those stripes (and anything else red on the website).

"Galleries" is spelt incorrectly.
Yea... had noticed that before, just forgotten! lol... thanks

That does come up when in the forums - would it be good for those to be site-wide?

err... thanks! :D that shouldn't be there lol

Thanks :D Will do

You are right! :) Those were not my fault though. I will get those changed, and will notify my mate (who knows more about cars than me) :)

Your Forum Articles [http://roadbusters.com/articles/] are a good idea. It will be good to expand on that.
Yea, thanks! :D I am currently trying to expand them to include categories and will get a submission form up to allow other members to submit their own articles to the list.

Lastly, advertise your forum. Run contests, and get loyal members to advertise.
Easier said than done I think. I do try and advertsie, and have my parners (mates, lol) doing stuff like posting on other forums with a link in their signature and stuff. I wish I knew more ways to advertise really. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for your comments overall, they were very helpful! :D
