Hi,

You can use this thread for DOT EU registrations RIPOFF.

Tell every one why most of us never got any good domain names to register and why we got left overs :)

Registrars CC charges RIPOFF for EU pre regs!

Plus any other RIPOFF.eu you can think of!

Well i got some good ones coming soon hopefully ?

Thank you

I didnt get most of mine, at least those on my 'WishList', because my .eu registrar was waaay too slow.
( Most of my names were submitted to EURID almost 12 hours after the 'LandRush' started. No wonder I didnt get any even slightly 'premium' ones. )

For me .Eu has been a complete waste of time and money. I intend to never register or buy a .eu in the future because of my bad experiences. I'm staying with .com as my main extension.

I know how you feel - I am not feeling enthusiastic enough to spend loads of hours looking throught the C***** leftovers to find a gem :td:

I spent probably hundreds of hours in the last year in the hope of getting a few great .eu names - ended up with a very few average names.

Exactly Gazzip- I feel the same and also spent the last 4 months sifting through thousands of names, checking them against all the possible TM infringements, checking them against all the other tld's for popularity, checking them all with overture ect. Eventually pre-regged only the best remaining ones which were 226 names. Pre-regged with 4 different registrars only to end up with 22 names , 18 from 1 registrar and 4 from another. And those names that I got for some weird reason were the ones I least fancied and the ones that had the least value of the lot. All my gems were taken...by who??? my registrar??? who knows?? Anyway I,m sure underhand things were afoot and a few unscrupelous characters have hit the jackpot. :May the fleas of a thousand rabid camels invest their armpits( Guess I should be thankful though that I did manage to get some although my visions of early retirement have been cruelly destroyed.

More than 1,000 "registrars" had the connections to participate in this rabid once in a lifetime (for EU at least) opportunity to suck maximum money from customers and speculators. It's called the multiplier effect, for every dollar EURID earned officially, hundreds of thousands of dollars were churned back into the economy.

Even those unscrupelous characters with hundreds of TMs had to pay through their teeth for each domain.. life is such.
