Rick Schwartz has surprised us with an anniversary post on his blog taking us back through memory lane!

Hey, looks like Rick forgot to include this part of "memory lane" http://www.ricksblog.com/2012/09/remembering-halvarez-and-where-he-is-today/#.V32KMhKdA64

If you'll scroll about halfway down the page, there's a September 28, 2012 exchange between Rick and I.

Me: "I’m”heynow” at namepros.com. I regularly remind parcipants at namepros (and other domain sites) that Snapnames is the largest admitted domain auction fraudster in history. Rick, I agree with you whole-heartedly about the extent of the fraud, and the high probability that”halvarez” had lots of help perpetrating fraud. I can’t help notice that two speakers at your upcoming convention either deem the admitted fraudster”reputable” or actually parcipate in ethically-challenged auction practices. I’m referring to Ron Jackson and Adam Dicker. Doesn’t look like you’re helping to hold the shady characters in the industry accountable. If I’m mistaken here, steer me straight!"

Rick's Reply: "Dave, If the Industry had more people Like Ron Jackson and Adam Dicker there would be less fraud not more. I can name some names you should have mentioned, but not them."

Now you have a more complete picture of "memory lane." As you can see, some of us were ringing alarm bells about Adam Dicker years ago. He was coddled by the biggest players in the industry folks, even after his ethically-challenged escapades dating back years prior. No one gave a crap. In fact, they bestowed accolades upon him. They helped perpetuate the illusion, even though others were asking legit questions.

If we're going to take that trip down "memory lane," let's really do it right.
