Hi I need some help.

Im trying to make up my resume and im stuck. I have an associates in web design BUT no experience really. I have some job prospects but I need a resume. I got most of it fine except for the work experience part. I don’t feel like listing wal-mart automotive, ralph’s, and mervyn’s as my job experience because it isn’t relevant. I have done a tiny bit of freelance work such as www.humangerm.com/apr which is in progress but that’s about it. I also have been repairing and building computers on the side which seems more relevant. Does anyone have any idea how I should write up my work experience? If anyone could throw me some pointers or show me an example I would appreciate it so much.

I think you should lidt your other work places, because the work experience isn't necessarily to prove your skills, but to show that you have worked with people before and maybe interviewers will call the numbers of previous employers to learn about your work ethic and such.

Just use any previous sites you've made, whether they were for a job or not, and call them your work experience.

If you haven't made any sites to show, then just make some for the resume.

If you're submitting a harcopy resume for a webdesign job, you could include a CD with fully-functional website samples from your portfolio. Try to find one of those mini-CD that look like the size of a business card. Might help make a good first impression, specially if your designs are really great.
