Resolution Resize

I'm currently working on a site for my school and trying to find a script that will automatically resize the contents of the page according to resolution. I've researched and researched and can't find anything that would remotely help me in my situation. The whole table width % thing could work for me... but wouldn't solve my whole problem. I'd like to find a script sort of like ebay has, that according to your resolution, the browser resizes all tables, images, and text. Any help or suggestions would be great. Thanks

SR: 1024x768 is the desired res., but I want the site to look the exact same in 800x600 and so on.

You're best bet is to design it for 800x600 and then center the design, so that it looks okay in 1024x768.

a lot depends on the style or content of your site.
how flexible is the content or design?

one method is to do the entire site in flash.
yes...this has its drawbacks...but it has been done before.
using flash and keeping all of the graphic in vector form will allow you to set the flash movie to 100% and it will alway fill the entire browser window. this is not an idea that will work for every site.

like mentioned above...another idea is to make the site work for 800 x 600....center it....and it will always work for any higher screen resolution as well.

the most common solution is to use tables [width=100%] and the image and text content will expand and contract to the changing browser window size.

what is the site url?
perhaps a look at your design will help you get more suggestions.
