Hi everyone,

I was just wondering what your thoughts are on the following:

Is it better to list a domain for sale in a T.R.A.F.F.I.C. auction, or at a Domain RoundTable auction? Which has the most exposure and/or potential for a higher sale? If you had a choice, which would you prefer?

Your opinions will be GREATLY appreciated! :hearts:

I believe DT's Roundtable auction(s) have had a good reception, IMHO ... I'd recommend checking back through the threads, DNJ, DT's blog, etc. for best comparisons, etc. :gl:

The locations and "themes" / motifs (and accompanying demographics of potential Buyers) are important considerations, as well ... unsure what types of domain(s) you're considering listing? IYHO.

End users historically have been scarce to non-exisitent ... would you possibly be better off marketing to End users on your own, or with assistance? :talk:
Some initial food for thought, all the best!

Thanks for your feedback, my friends :)

One of my domains (a generic one-word .com) was accepted by Roundtable, and may possibly be accepted for TRAFFIC too (based on communication with one of their brokers), but I know once you sign a contract with either they have control over the domain for a certain amount of days. So I don't know if I should sign the contract w/ RT or wait for the TRAFFIC auction, they are about 1 month apart.

Anyway, you guys/gals have always helped guide me with your infinite wisdom, and you haven't failed me yet... Thanks again :loveyou:

I think with RT there is only a 60 day hold on the domain and I have heard that with TRAFFIC it varies anywhere from 1-2 years.

Moniker actually locks you in not TRAFFIC itself. I would just request a copy from them. It may very per person and/or domain on how you are locked in.
